FAQs
- Referrals
Please provide a valid referral from your GP prior to booking your appointment. If the referral is not recieved prior to your appointment you will not be able to claim a Medicare rebate for the consultation, and you will be required to pay the full private fee. Your GP referral is only valid for 12 months. If your referral has expired please ensure it is updated prior to booking an appointment
- Fees
We are a private billing practice which means there will be an out of pocket cost for the consultation. The fee will depend on the complexity of your child’s needs and the type of consultation. Unfortunately private health insurance does not cover standard out-of-hospital consultations. If you would like to discuss this further please speak to our helpful reception team who can provide further clarifications.
