Dr Sunil Esampalli

MBBS FRCPCH FRACP

Welcome to my practice and thank you for the opportunity to be involved in your care. I have worked as a specialist paediatrician since 2017. Having started my medical life as a doctor in India, my passion for paediatrics sparked during my undergraduate years. This brought me to the UK where I finished my specialist training in paediatrics. I worked in the UK for over 14 years and in 2020 we decided to move to Canberra as a family, which has since been my home. I have also worked in Uganda and helped set up a malnutrtion unit which I continue to support.

My specialist training was quite broad and has given me good standing and experience working in a variety of settings. I have 15yrs of experience in caring for children’s health and well-being. I’m passionate about helping children grow and thrive, and I enjoy working with families to support their children’s development.

I see children from birth to adolescence. I have special interest in respiratory illnesses in children, developmental and behavioural paediatrics.

Outside medicine I enjoy gardening and exploring the great outdoors with my family .
